Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a part‑time, armed access control position in Nashville, TN. The role offers Fixed-Shift Anchor hours with opportunities to pick up extra shifts, allowing you to increase earnings while maintaining a reliable base schedule.

Pay rate is $23.00 per hour. Candidate must have at least one year of armed security or related experience, a high school diploma, and be 21+ for armed roles. Background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, buildings, equipment areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
