Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Response in Windsor, CT. You will support a designated site with fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up additional hours through our Earn-A-Shift program.

Responsibilities include customer service, responding to incidents and alarms, conducting armed patrols, and maintaining documentation while adhering to site policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Possess firearms qualifications and follow site procedures.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and other stakeholders by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas and maintain visitor/vehicle/incidence documentation.
