Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Registration in Windsor, CT. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, and a pay rate of $18.15 per hour.

The position supports customer service, access control, and security procedures at a logistics/distribution site. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or equivalent, and may be eligible for armed roles with appropriate licensing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, employees, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures.
• Manage front-desk access by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, maintaining logs, and directing authorized individuals.
• Monitor entry activity and site access points from a fixed post and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate contacts.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity and security events per site requirements.
