• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and authorized personnel while carrying out security-related procedures at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with laws and Allied Universal policies, and complete incident reports and daily activity documentation.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and authorized personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures, and complete accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
