As a Armed Security Officer Overnight Residential Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will help support a welcoming residential community through highly visible patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and customer-focused communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed guard card or license. You will work collaboratively to help deter security-related incidents, assist residents and visitors, and uphold our values of agility, reliability, innovation, caring, teamwork, and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $25.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site policies, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
