Excelsior Defense, Inc. in the Orlando area is seeking an Armed Security Officer for part-time duty to protect client premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high-visibility presence and control access to the property.

The role requires D and G security licenses, ability to patrol, respond to incidents, write reports, and operate surveillance and emergency equipment. Must have own weapon and be prepared for varied shifts.

Responsibilities

Job description

Excelsior Defense are seeking an Armed Security Officer to become part of our exceptional team. The selected individual will look for a part-time to protect our client's premises, assets, and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property. The selected individual will be doing rounds, scanning in different points throughout the property in the housing contract.

The Armed Officer needs to be prompt with patrolling the community to making sure everything is safe.

All candidates need to have a current/active D Security License and G Security License to qualify for this position.

This position is in the Orlando Area, and Excelsior Defense is in need of two-Armed Officer.

1. Orlando Area code: 32811 (Saturday 9pm to 5am and Sunday 9pm to 5am)

2. Orlando Area code 32811 (Monday 430pm-10pm, Tuesday 430pm to 10pm, Saturday 430pm to 9pm, Sunday 430pm to 9pm

Qualification:

• Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense or life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Report in detain any suspicious incidents
• Report Writing

Skills Required

• Proven Work experience as a security officer or relevant position
• Valid D and G security license (Needs to be active with both security license)
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Must have your own weapon
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detain orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• Detailed report writing

Base Rate: 19.01 hourly
