Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. Our officers act as a visible deterrent to crime, detect and report suspicious or criminal acts, and ensure the safety of property, clients, guests, and employees.

Schedule: Part Time: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 3 PM

Requirements: Must be 21+ years old, have 3+ years of Law enforcement/Security/Military experience or a college degree, be fluent in Spanish (preferred), and possess an Armed guard card.

Pay Rate: $28.60

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle
• Enforce rules, regulations, and directives for the site
• Maintain proficiency with all protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons
• Greet and assist guests and employees, secure ingress and egress points, and protect classified information
• Follow site-specific procedures, report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances
• Respond to alarms and act as a first responder in emergencies, providing first aid as necessary

Qualifications (must have)

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• State/local licensing requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of law enforcement, military, or private armed security experience
• Minimum age 21 years
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to complete all range qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or related field
