As a Armed Security Officer - Morning Site Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or retail staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation for patrols, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
