Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a Mixed Use Building in Lower Manhattan on a part-time schedule with Sunday shifts and morning hours. The role pays $35.00 per hour and offers weekly pay.

Candidates should be retired or active law enforcement in New York and possess a NY firearms permit unless active law enforcement in NY. Responsibilities include delivering customer service, enforcing site policies, handling emergencies, and patrolling the premises.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable security experience.
• Possess a valid New York State firearms permit unless active law enforcement in NY.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following safety procedures and site policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; varies by client site.

• Pay Rate: $35.00 / hour

Contractual Requirement's:

• Candidates should be Retired and/or Active Law Enforcement within the State of New York
• Candidates should posses valid New York State Firearm permit unless active Law Enforcment in the State of New Yor

As an Armed Security Officer you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universalwill consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
