This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, perimeter locations, and other assigned property areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe for unusual activity, and document incidents, observations, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
