Job summary

Allied Universal® in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Armed Security Officer for Judicial Sites on a part-time basis. You will provide visible security, deter incidents, assist visitors, and maintain a professional, courteous demeanor across assigned sites.

Responsibilities include armed patrols of retail and government locations, monitoring access points, verifying credentials, responding to alarms, and producing accurate incident reports as required by site procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or a college degree.
• Armed guard card or license is required.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $21.86 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 06:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or government personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail, mall, government facility, parking, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as authorized, control entry and exit activity, and maintain awareness of deliveries, contractors, and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts, emergency responders, and law enforcement as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and patrol records in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
