As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of a team. Pay Rate: $21.86 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and authorized personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor activity, incidents, and patrol observations accurately.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
