Job summary

The Auto Club Group in Dearborn, MI is seeking a part-time Armed Security Officer for a mix of 1st and 2nd shifts. You will work 1–4 days per week with one weekend per month, ensuring the safety of employees, visitors and property.

Responsibilities include issuing IDs, vehicle tags and parking citations, maintaining security posts, patrolling, monitoring CCTV and responding to incidents and emergencies.

Qualifications

• College-level coursework in Criminal Justice or related field or equivalent experience.
• Training in carrying and operating firearms completed.
• Must have or obtain Michigan Concealed Pistol License within nine months.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Protect employees, visitors and property; issue IDs.
• Issue vehicle tags and parking citations; manage security posts.
• Patrol interior and exterior; verify doors, windows and vents.
• Monitor CCTV; respond to alarms and incidents.
• Use proper defense tactics; detain when needed.
• Provide security escorts; respond to health emergencies.
• Prepare incident reports and logs.
