Job summary

OPS Security Group in West Mifflin, PA is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to cover multiple shifts. You will provide high-end customer service, manage access, respond to incidents, and help deter crime in demanding environments.

Ideal candidates hold a valid DL and a high school diploma or GED, with 1–2 years of armed security experience recommended. You must pass PAT/ASO and a drug screen to join the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 year experience in armed security is recommended.
• Pass PAT and ASO course.
• Pass a drug screen.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Extensive use of force knowledge.
• Pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-end customer service.
• Responding to emergencies.
• Deterring and preventing crime.
• Performing ingress/ egress control procedures.
• Investigating incidents.
• Completing daily logs and incident reports.
• Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols.
• Building and maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests, and co-workers.
• De-escalating conflicts.
• Detaining suspects.
• Monitoring CCTV cameras.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
