Job summary

Tier One is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a major medical campus in Houston, TX. You will provide a professional security presence, protect employees and visitors, and respond to incidents per client protocol.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas Level III license or will enter Tier One to complete training. CPR/AED certification is preferred, with a focus on de-escalation and clear documentation of events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred.
• Active Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer License preferred; training pipeline available for non-licensed candidates.
• CPR, AED, and basic first-aid certification preferred or obtainable on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, professional security presence for healthcare facility staff, patients, visitors, and contractors.
• Patrol indoor and outdoor areas to deter crime and identify safety concerns.
• Address trespassing, loitering, disturbances, and suspicious activity with restraint and sound judgment.
• Document incidents clearly in reports and logs.
