Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, seeks a Security Officer Armed Security Screening in Lansing, MI. You will safeguard patients, visitors, and staff, manage entry points, verify access, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

The role emphasizes customer service, routine patrols, and detailed reporting while supporting hospital operations and patient safety. Full-time schedule and a $24/hour pay rate are provided.

Qualificações

• Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation may be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required, to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain access-control logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry concerns, incidents, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate observations and incidents to leadership and site personnel, completing required reports.
