Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Patrol for a grocery store in Seattle, WA. You will provide security, assist customers and staff, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents across the retail location.

Armed roles require an Armed Guard Card or License and a willingness to work a late-afternoon to early-morning schedule (Thu/Fri/Sat). Prior security or law-enforcement experience is preferred, and compliance with background checks and drug screening is

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Concealed carry weapons permit.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Industry-specific security training required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and staff by following security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly and follow established procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter theft, trespassing, and disorderly conduct.
• Document incidents and observations and communicate with site leadership and management.
