Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government office areas and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor screening per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and incidents and communicate information to site contacts and leadership.
