Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements include a college degree and various security-related certifications or credentials.
• Armed guard license and state licensing are preferred where applicable.
• Candidates must be 21+ for armed positions and undergo background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security procedures and post orders.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeters to identify hazards and report incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies and coordinate with appropriate personnel or agencies.
• Monitor access to government facilities and verify credentials; report unauthorized entry attempts.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation and handle equipment per laws and Allied Universal procedures.
