Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer in San Francisco for a full-time position on weekdays and weekends. The role involves armed patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring and incident reporting to ensure the safety of people and property at a high-profile site.

The officer will respond to emergencies, maintain professional conduct, and build positive relationships with client staff and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current driver’s license if driving company or client vehicle.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification from AHA/ARC.
• Federal and state firearms qualifications.
• NWDTP certification.
• OC, Baton and handcuffing certifications.
• Defensive tactics and de‑escalation certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed protective services per Allied Universal standards.
• Conduct armed patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring.
• Report safety concerns and security incidents in writing and verbally.
• Respond to emergencies with professionalism and adherence to protocols.
• Greet visitors and staff; answer questions and assist as needed.
• Patrol the facility on foot or by vehicle.
• Operate radio/telephone equipment and monitor alarms.
• Maintain post orders and site manuals as directed.
