Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• English reading, writing, and speaking proficiency.
• Minimum 2 years of armed security experience.
• Owns a registered 9mm semiautomatic pistol or .45 ACP handgun.
• Must possess an active State Security Guard License for the post state.
• Must possess an active State Firearms License for the post state.
• Must maintain firearm qualifications and first-aid/CPR certifications.
• Experience with walk-through metal detectors and handheld wands.
• Able to stand and patrol for extended periods.
• Must pass USCIS suitability/background checks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to site.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous access control duties, including screening visitors and personnel using magnetometers and wands.
• Conduct regular facility checks and monitor surveillance systems.
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms per post orders.
• Document all activities, incidents, and security breaches in reports.
• Provide professional service while enforcing security protocols for all personnel and visitors.
• Maintain proficiency with security equipment and screening devices.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and Post Orders.
• Coordinate with the partner guard and Regional Security Manager.
