Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Entry Management in Jackson, MS. You will safeguard government facilities, manage access control, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

Position is full-time with a schedule of standard business hours Monday through Friday. The role requires an armed guard card or license, 21+ years old, and a background check.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation is required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and authorized personnel while performing access-control procedures at a government office location.
• Monitor entry points, verify IDs, manage visitor sign-in, and maintain access-related records.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and document events as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, entrances, parking lots, and perimeter.
• Communicate clearly with the public and follow security procedures to maintain a safe environment.
