• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a government corrections environment.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, staff, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to incidents, patrols, observations, and other security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Hookerton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government correctional location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed credentials. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM Tue 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM Sun 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least six months of armed guard, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
