Qualifications

• At least 1 year armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• State/local security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screen required by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be state/local dependent.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
