Qualifications

• Minimum: 1 year armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• A valid security license issued by state/local authority preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old and have a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law and company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vendors, and deliveries.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and unusual conditions and communicate to supervision.

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
