Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol in Monticello, AR to provide armed security at a healthcare site with fixed anchor shifts and optional additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

The role features day/evening/night rotations, weekly pay, and opportunities to earn extra shifts. Minimum requirements include 21+ years of age, a high school diploma, background check, and drug screening where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control procedures, and directions for patients and visitors as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken, and maintain required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
