Job summary

Allied Universal in Anadarko, OK is seeking a part‑time Security Officer – Enhanced to provide flexible, dependable security coverage at a designated site. This role offers fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You’ll perform armed patrols of utility facilities, respond to incidents calmly, and ensure safety procedures are followed. A background check and drug screen are required, with weekly pay and a $20.86/hour rate.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at utility facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility buildings, substations, equipment areas, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site policies.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site‑specific post orders.
