Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicant will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• As a condition of employment, applicant will be subject to a drug screen.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and customers per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and document observations per procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of financial institution facilities to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and comply with licensing requirements.
