Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in New York, NY. This armed role offers fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts for higher earnings, with a pay rate of $47.22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrol duties throughout the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities.

As a Armed Security Officer - Financial Institutionin New York, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $47.22 / Hour

DayTimeSat08:45 AM - 02:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
