Cambridge Security Services is seeking an armed security officer for a full-time role in Boca Raton, FL. The position emphasizes access control, patrols, surveillance, and professional, courteous service to residents and guests.

Qualified candidates will hold Florida D and G licenses, be at least 21, and pass background and drug screening. The role includes 32–40 hours weekly and a pay rate of $20.00–$22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Florida Class D and G security licenses.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Be 21 years of age or older and able to pass background checks and drug tests.
• U.S. citizenship or legal work authorization required in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols to detect security concerns or hazards.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems for constant site awareness.
• Respond to emergencies by sounding alarms and notifying responders.
• Verify guest/vendor credentials and monitor entrances/exits.
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed written reports.
• Maintain daily logs of shift events for management.
• Provide courteous, high-level customer service to residents and guests.
