As an Armed Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Tue 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Wed 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points, receive deliveries and/or vendors as directed, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
