• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as required, and document visitor activity, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain awareness of the correctional setting and communicate promptly with appropriate personnel regarding security-related concerns, policy violations, and emergency conditions.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as assigned, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
