Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Licensed Armed Patrol Driver in Clinton, NC. You will provide security for a government location, perform armed patrols, control access, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

A valid driver’s license and armed guard card are preferred; must be 21+ with a high school diploma. Schedule: Wed and Thu 5:45 AM–6:00 PM; pay: $21.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while following site policies and emergency procedures.

• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify authorization as directed.
• Complete incident reports and patrol logs, communicating with supervisors.

You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. • Wed: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thur: 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while carrying out site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response activities within a correctional government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as directed, and maintain awareness of activity throughout the assigned location.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of an armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
