Job summary

Allied Universal in Magna, UT is seeking an Armed Security Officer Driver Patrol to protect clients across aerospace/defense sites. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service, supported by a valid driver's license and site-specific procedures.

The role is full-time, with a pay rate of $26.35 per hour. Schedule includes daytime shifts on Fri/Sat/Sun, and is located in Magna, Utah.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include customer service experience and access control/badge handling.
• Handcuffing certification and alarm panel experience are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants consent to background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and in accordance with site protocols.

As an Armed Security Officer Driver Patrolin Magna, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarms, help to deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor activity, deliveries, and unusual conditions in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
