As an Armed Security Officer Driver Mobile Patrol in Magna, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $26.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 11:45 AM - 05:45 PM
• Thur 05:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Fri 11:45 AM - 05:45 PM
• Sat 05:45 AM - 05:45 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle entry requirements in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and irregular conditions in clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
