Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Guard Driver in Magna, UT to safeguard clients across aerospace/defense locations. You will perform armed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible, professional presence in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, armed guard credentials preferred, and a High School diploma or equivalent. Full-time schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Handcuffing certification preferred.

As an Armed Security Guard Driver in Magna, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 05:45 AM - 05:45 PM
• Wed: 05:45 AM - 05:45 PM
• Thur: 05:45 AM - 05:45 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information accurately.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and communicate observations, incidents, and shift activity to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
