Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle entry requirements in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and irregular conditions in clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Job Description

As an Armed Security Officer Driver Mobile Patrol in Magna, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post also involves delivering exceptional customer service, clear communication, and access support while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
