Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Dedicated Residential Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA. In this full-time role you will provide security services for a residential community, perform routine vehicle patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service to residents and visitors.

You will respond to alarms and incidents, observe and report on activity, and carry authorized equipment in compliance with laws and site

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Firearms permit preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation conducted per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training programs required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents and staff while following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, parking, and perimeters to deter incidents.

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to residents and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $25.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policy, and site-specific procedures, and complete accurate incident and daily activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
