Job summary

OPS Security Group is seeking Physical Security Officers (PSOs) to work in demanding environments such as medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues, and events. You may be required to carry firearms as part of the role to protect people, information, and property while delivering strong customer service. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.

Qualifications

• ACT 235 current certification is required.
• 21 years of age or older and eligible for employment.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year armed security experience recommended.
• Successful completion of PAT and ASO course.
• Clear drug screen.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient time-management abilities.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Strong de-escalation skills and firearms proficiency.
• Extensive knowledge of use of force.
• Pass comprehensive background investigation and OPS training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high end customer service.
• Respond to emergencies as they arise.
• Deterr and prevent crime across assigned sites.
• Perform ingress/egress control procedures.
• Investigate incidents and complete reports.
• Maintain daily logs and incident entries.
• Conduct regular walking or vehicle patrols.
• Build and maintain professional rapport with clients and guests.
• De-escalate conflicts when possible.
• Monitor CCTV cameras for security threats.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
