Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Campus Patrol in El Paso, TX. You will serve and safeguard clients across a technology-focused university campus.

Your duties include patrolling facilities, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and preparing clear activity reports for campus personnel and leadership. This full-time role requires a Level III Armed Certification in Texas, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening; age 21+

Qualifications

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• State/county/city security license preferred.
• Be 21+ years old for armed roles; 18+ for unarmed positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

As a Armed Security Officer Campus Patrol in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a dynamic campus technology environment, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a technology-focused university location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, technology areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns through appropriate channels.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports and communicate professionally with campus personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
