• Strong written and verbal communication.
• First aid/CPR certification and IAHSS Basic Course is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

As an Armed Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling a hospital environment.

Qualifications of an Armed Tactical Security Guard

• Must have active Act 235 Certification
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• You are 21 years old or older
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• You have an ACT 235 Lethal Weapons Training Certification
• Currently have or be able to attain all necessary immunizations
• Provide personally owned duty weapon (9mm caliber handgun)
• Complete certification to carry an approved less-lethal alternative (OCAT-Path Certification - OC Spray)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• First aid/CPR certification and IAHSS Basic Course, is an asset
