Job summary

Securatech Guard Services is hiring Armed Security Officers in Birmingham, MI. The position requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, English proficiency, and the ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. CGI background checks and drug screening are required.

Compensation starts at $20.00 per hour with full-time, non-exempt status. Officers will patrol client locations, monitor access, and respond to emergencies while maintaining professional conduct

Qualifications

• Must be motivated, engaged and able to respond quickly to urgent situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background check including criminal, motor vehicle, credit, and education history; drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity and secure client locations such as schools, retail locations, and government buildings.
• Check devices, secure facilities, log entries, and provide access control at posts.
• Render first‑responder services and prepare daily activity/incident reports.
• Respond to incidents of theft, assault, or property damage and document messages/requests.
• Maintain equipment operation and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
• Use computer applications and various manuals/equipment; communicate with supervisors and clients.
