Qualifications

Responsibilities

Armed Security Officer – Weekend Patrol

Diamond Security is seeking a dependable Armed Security Officer for scheduled weekend coverage. This position is responsible for maintaining a visible security presence, conducting vehicle and foot patrols, responding to alarms and incidents, and documenting activity throughout each shift. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating a company-provided patrol vehicle, carrying a personal firearm while on duty, following established post orders, and remaining composed when responding to security-related situations.

Schedule

• Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, on alternating weekends
• Part-time, alternating-weekend schedule
• Reliable availability for assigned weekend shifts is required.

Core Duties

• Conduct routine patrols by company-provided vehicle and on foot throughout assigned areas.
• Operate the patrol vehicle safely and in accordance with applicable state laws and company requirements.
• Monitor assigned areas for signs of unauthorized access, unsafe conditions, suspicious activity, or other concerns.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and suspicious activity.
• Assess situations calmly and follow established response procedures.
• Use force only when legally permitted and consistent with company policy, training, and applicable requirements.
• Contact and coordinate with law enforcement when an incident requires outside assistance.
• Prepare thorough reports documenting daily activities, incidents, alarms, irregularities, and significant observations.
• Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor when assisting visitors, employees, residents, or other authorized individuals.
• Enforce applicable property rules, post orders, and company procedures consistently.

Required Qualifications

• Active CLEET Armed Security Guard License required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older, as required for an Oklahoma armed security license.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Personal firearm meeting company and Oklahoma requirements; firearm must be approved by Diamond Security before use on duty.
• Must be legally qualified to possess a firearm and perform armed security duties.
• Must successfully complete a background check and fingerprinting consistent with CLEET licensing requirements, as well as company onboarding.
• Ability to safely operate a company-provided patrol vehicle.
• Ability to conduct foot patrols and remain alert throughout an 8-hour shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to follow post orders, company policies, and applicable laws.

Patrol Vehicle Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle patrols according to assigned routes and instructions.

• Report vehicle or equipment concerns through the appropriate channels.
