Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned premises on foot or by vehicle to identify signs of intrusion or unsafe conditions.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, parking areas, entrances, exits, and designated exterior areas.
• Maintain a visible security presence throughout assigned areas.
• Identify unsecured doors, unusual conditions, safety concerns, and other irregularities.
• Help protect high-value assets and designated property.
• Enforce post orders and company procedures.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and alarms; report issues promptly.
• Log entries/exits and maintain access records.
• Coordinate with law enforcement during serious incidents.

Location: Tulsa, OK 74136
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Diamond Security is seeking a dependable Armed Security Officer to provide professional security coverage at an assigned facility in Tulsa. This position protects people, property, equipment, and designated areas through routine patrols, access control, surveillance monitoring, incident response, and accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate is observant, dependable, and comfortable interacting with employees, visitors, vendors, and members of the public. The officer must exercise sound judgment, follow established post orders, and remain composed when responding to security concerns.

Key Responsibilities

Patrol & Premises Security

• Patrol assigned premises on foot or by vehicle to identify signs of intrusion, unauthorized activity, property damage, or unsafe conditions.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, parking areas, entrances, exits, and designated exterior areas.
• Maintain a visible security presence throughout assigned areas.
• Identify unsecured doors, unusual conditions, safety concerns, and other irregularities.
• Help protect high-value assets, equipment, sensitive locations, and other designated property.
• Enforce applicable property rules, post orders, and company procedures.

Surveillance & Security Systems

• Monitor CCTV cameras and other available surveillance systems.
• Observe alarms and electronic access-control systems for unusual activity.
• Promptly report equipment malfunctions, system issues, or security deficiencies.
• Follow established procedures when an alarm or security alert is received.

Access Control

• Monitor designated entry and exit points.
• Check identification and verify authorization when required.
• Issue visitor badges and maintain access records.
• Log entries and exits according to established procedures.
• Identify and report attempted unauthorized access.

Incident Response

• Respond to disturbances, emergencies, suspicious activity, alarms, and other security incidents.
• Assess situations and take appropriate action within the scope of assigned duties.
• Use force only when necessary, legally permitted, and consistent with company policy and Oklahoma law.
• Maintain professional communication during stressful or rapidly changing situations.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders during serious incidents.
• Notify supervisors of significant events and help secure affected areas until assistance arrives.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, irregularities, and security concerns.
• Maintain electronic activity logs using approved reporting systems.
• Communicate relevant information to supervisors during the shift.
• Protect confidential client, employee, visitor, and security information.
• Complete required documentation before the end of each shift.

Customer Service & Professional Conduct

• Assist visitors, employees, contractors, and other authorized individuals while maintaining security responsibilities.
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with the public.
• Represent Diamond Security with professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.

Required Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma CLEET Armed Security Guard License.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with reporting platforms such as TrackTik, Belfry, or similar systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
