Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK is seeking an evening shift, full-time Armed Security Officer to join our patient-focused team. You will patrol facilities, monitor surveillance, and enforce security policies to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The role requires a CLEET Armed Security Officer credential, a valid driver’s license, and completion of core certifications such as BLS and CPI within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• IAHSS Basic certification within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.

• OC gel spray certification.

• The Security Officer maintains a safe and secure environment by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, and enforcing security policies.
• This role helps prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access while ensuring the safety of Hillcrest Hospital South patients, visitors, staff, equipment, supplies, facilities, and hospital contents.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CLEET Armed Security Officer.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 1 year of security experience.

• Skill and ability to make quick decisions and apply safety and security knowledge in emergencies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
