Position Details

• Type: Part-Time Armed Security Officer at Vanderbilt Townhomes - 3rd Shift
• Schedule: Varying weeknights, Fridays, and Saturdays, 8 hours between 6:00 pm to 4:00 am, totaling 24 hours/week
• Wage: $18.00/hour

Primary Responsibilities

1. Secure premises and personnel through patrols, surveillance, and inspections
2. Check identification and enforce policies before unlocking buildings/doors
3. Monitor activity, enforce rules, and alert visitors of infractions
4. Assist persons needing directions or information
5. Report irregularities, inform violators, and restrain trespassers to prevent losses
6. Complete and submit reports on observations and incidents
7. Respond to alarms and dispatched calls
8. Assist law enforcement at public events, if needed

Position Requirements

1. 6+ months security experience
2. High school diploma or GED
3. Valid Concealed Pistol License (CPL)
4. Proficiency in handling firearms
5. Ability to pass DMV check and operate company vehicle
6. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
7. Follow verbal and written instructions
8. Work independently and pass a criminal background check
9. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
