Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Armed Security Officer in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for patrolling and monitoring premises, securing entry points, and responding to alarms and emergencies. Additional responsibilities include performing safety checks, reporting suspicious activities, and maintaining a visible security presence. The officer will also be required to complete detailed incident reports and collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.

Qualifications

• Law enforcement or military experience, and certification to carry a firearm
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures, and ability to follow protocols
• Excellent observational and problem-solving skills, and ability to remain alert
• Strong communication and reporting skills, and ability to report incidents accurately
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education and certifications are a plus
• Physical strength and stamina; ability to stand or patrol for extended periods
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
