Strategic Security Corp. seeks an Unarmed Security Guard to provide a visible security presence in a government, corporate, retail, or commercial setting. You will patrol on foot or by vehicle, monitor CCTV and alarms, control access points, observe for suspicious activity, and report incidents with detailed logs.

You will support G.E.T. Principles—Greet, Engage, and Thank—by delivering excellent customer service and professional conduct on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain State Unarmed Security Guard License where required.
• Must pass state licensing tests if operating client-owned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and random security patrols on foot or by vehicle.
• Observe, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Control entry and exit points and verify authorized access.
• Identify and address safety hazards or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; notify law enforcement or emergency services as required.
• Assist with basic first aid and emergency notifications.
• Prepare detailed written reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity.
• Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, professional post area at all times.
• Greet, engage, and thank customers to promote a positive environment.
• Assist guests with directions and area information.

SummaryAs an Unarmed Security Guard, you will be responsible for providing a visible security presence and maintaining a safe and secure environment within a government, corporate, retail, or commercial setting. This role requires professionalism, strong situational awareness, and excellent customer service skills.Primary responsibilities include conducting foot patrols, monitoring surveillance and alarm systems, controlling access and egress, observing and reporting suspicious activity, and responding appropriately to safety or security concerns. Officers are expected to complete accurate reports and maintain detailed logs in accordance with post orders and company policy.In addition to physical security duties, this position actively supports SSC’s G.E.T.
