Job summary

Silver Shield Inc. is seeking dedicated Armed Security Officers to join our team in the Fort Worth area.

The on-call officer will patrol premises, respond to disturbances, enforce policies, and assist employees and visitors in emergencies while maintaining a safe environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years of armed officer experience, a valid driver's license with own vehicle to post in, the Level III guard card, and the ability to pass background and drug

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of Armed Officer or similar experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and own vehicle to post in.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Active Level III guard card required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure safety and security.
• Foot patrol and stair navigation.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors in emergencies.
• Enforce company policies and prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular inspections for potential risks or hazards.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain records.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.

Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm NO WEEKENDS

Job Summary: Silver Shield Inc. currently seeking dedicated and experienced Armed Security Officers to join our team. The on-call officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, and knowledge of law enforcement procedures.

Armed Security Officers positions Monday through Friday throughout the Fort Worth, Arlington and Denton area.

• Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Foot Patrol and walking up and down stairs.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors in emergency situations.
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.

Skills:

• Strong surveillance skills to effectively monitor premises.
• Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, including arrest techniques and legal rights.
• CPR certification and first aid training to provide immediate medical assistance if needed.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience as an Armed Officer or in a similar role preferred
• Must possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle to post in

• Must have active Level III guard card.
