St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring an Armed Security Officer to join our Edgewood Security Team. This full-time position covers the second shift, 40 hours per week, with responsibilities to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
You will interact professionally, apply de‑escalation techniques, and coordinate with staff and local authorities as needed. Eligibility includes firearms training and a valid driver’s license; prior SEH security experience is preferred.

Shift/Hours: Full Time 40 Hours, Second Shift
The Armed Security Officer is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff; and to interact with people, with an emphasis on professional service and customer relations. The Armed Security Officer should have a working knowledge and understanding of the use of deadly physical force. This position works closely with staff, local law enforcement, and other government agencies.
